Interest in ford day at Eastern Creek - Ford Forums - Mustang Forum, Ford Trucks, Ford Focus and Ford Cars

Guys and Girls,
We are considering hiring Eastern Creek for one half day possibly on the 16th of April for our sponsors of our Targa Tasmania XR6T. We are looking to see if there would be any interest for other people to join us on the day.
It will be a closed track day for 20 of our invites at a cost of $200.00 per driver and you can have a passenger for an extra $20.00(these payments are for the track not for funraising).
The 20 people will be seperated in two groups, a fast group and slower group each group will do a 30 minute stint alternating for the half day allowing you to pit anytime.So from 12.00pm till 4.30pm you will be on every half hour with a mate(sidekick,spotter,) if you wish.
you will need the following;
Helmet
long sleeve shirt
jeans
shoes(no open footwear)
current licence
cars will be scruteneered before being allowed on track
and respect for other peoples cars.

sounds good i have never been on a race track, have no time but if there is no problem for beginners i would love 2 take my XR8 around the track.

Sorry for the inconveniance but we have now been told that date is no good so we have been moved to friday 16th april if numbers come through.

NO prob come anytime. We have had discussions with a few people and there might be an invite going out to LS1.com if we dont get the numbers, so it might end up a Ford v Holden track day.
I really dont know if thats a good or bad thing?
We have 8 so far not including ones on this thread 4 GT-P's, 2 XR6T, 1 996 Porsche and 1 hot Au XR8

That Friday and the weekend is the LS1 Nationals at Heathcote, so there may not be many LS1's there
