I doubt that. In one part of the blue prints it says only the six has it.. then in another it says the 8 has it......

Pisses me off how u cant ring FPV and say hey can i talk to the head tech for a sec and ask him something lol

As far as I am aware the BOSS 290 and 260 does NOT have a knock sensor.
This was one of the questions I asked the guys who designed the drivetrain.
They said there might be one on the BA2 but were very noncommital.

If you would like to confirm whether you have one on your 290 it is really easy.
Fuel up with woolies petrol and listen, you will not have to listen very closely.
I have actually seen and heard the result of doing this.
Spectacular and NO it wasn't my car.

They don't have knock sensors. Mustang Cobras have one in each bank of the block valley so it seems that Ford Oz have been cost cutting as there is provision for them but there not there. Does someone want to remove the inlet manifold to make sure.
