Bad driveline shunt
Rattle through gearbox in 3rd gear
Alarm going off when boot is opened, now fixed
Alarm randomly goes off when starting car
Drivers side window sluggish up/down, now fixed

Fuel cons averaging 14.5lt/100km

ok lets START
1. BROKE 2 DRIVE SHAFTS IN THE FIRST 2 MONTHS
after which had grease all over car and inside as well
2.marked front rim at pickup of car which took 3 months to replace
3.noisey gearbox and clunks into 2 and 3 rd
4.scratch in headlight upon pre delivery
5.mark in rear spolier painted once no good replace with new spolier
6.oil leaks diff and engine sump
7.using oil for the first 8,000 ,200mls per 1,000 ks now fixed all by itself
8.scratches in paint work
9. paint rubbing off inside of the door frames due to mis alighned doors
10.paint missing inside front doors meeting the front guards
11.excellerator pedal sensor dicided not to work
12.Rear brakes rubbing still trying to fix prob 5 trys
13.Drivers side window switch not working
14. brake shudder still no fix for this
15.rear spoiler leaking water into boot
16. Surging at low revs
17.one front tyre worn completly on the inside in 7,000ks as the tyre have on car now has done over 22,000 no probs
18.paint peeling off rear bar
19.stiching came apart on gear knob
20.noisey at start up
21.alarm going off when car is locked and you open boot (fixed)
22.drivers side seat belt stopped retracting (fixed)
23.driving light globes keep blowing
24.poor fuel consuption 18L per 100km around town and 16L on highway
25. not alot of probs

Diff made bad clunks.
Diff made bad cluncks again
Diff still making bad clucks.

Thinking of pissing the diff off.... and put a live axel under it again. NOT

oh, and gearbox poped out of first gear at 4500rpm under load but has been replaced.

john most of those probs happened in the first 3 months of owning the car

2004 XR8 - 3500km
Boot spoiler paint finish average (being fixed under warranty)'
Stalled once for no reason (been 'flashed' now)
Trim panel for fuse box poor fitment (as good as it gets apparently)
fuel consuption 16L per 100km around town and 13L on highway
Looses traction even with traction control on sometimes!!

I absolutely love it!!!

GT No 732 5 speed

1. Scratch in rim at delivery, fixed under warranty

2. Peeling door stripe, fixed under warranty

3. Usual moderate D/Line shunt (drive around it)

4. Rattley Tremec, awaiting apparent FMC fix (till the year 2999)

5. Rattle in H/Lining around sunglass holder (FMC warranty).

But I don't give a rats bum cause The Boss has got the grunt, he he, 263 HSV stomping rwkW of the stuff

It can cruise at 200 kph all day long on C/Control, then thrust you back in the seat to 250 if you get bored and open it up. I'll take the usual gremlins and a few thumps and clunks, cause out on that open road all you feel is the PLEASURE

1. Brakes shimmed slight shudder at high speed braking.. now fixed.
2. windsceen imperfection cause by the Fords supplier changed for a new one,
cantractor scratched top door frame fitting new windscreen then it had to be re-painted.
3. 3 month wait on a new 6 stack CD player now fixed.
4. having to wait 4 months for delivery before i could enjoy

driving my ute.
5. would like a 13.61 like Rodderz & Rays XR8's...
