hey guys,
how much extra power would u think a manual gt would have with these mods:
SS inductions cold air intake system
BMC air filter
SS inductions BIG Mouth 80mm throttle body
Full herrod twin exhaust system with quad pipes

How much extra power would this give a GT?
and how much extra power (on top of these mods) would u get by adding an 'edit'

I have a GT 6speed man with

cold air
high flow pod filter
herrod snorkel
helix spacer
herrod cats back exhaust
stealth ECU tune

All this was around $3,500

Performance difference is very noticable with the boss coming alive. Bottom end response has improved dramatically and the extra 500rpm up top is awesome.

I have flashed my car back to standard and the power deliverly winds up at 4k. With the tuner the delivery is linear and just keeps rushing up.

I ran a 05 WRX with exhaust mod, pumped him hard. It was a real whipping, poor guy.

If you ran quad pipes (which is a full system) on top of these mods the car would be an animal. It would be a 12's second car.

From 215rwkw stock to about 255rwkw estimate. Around 330kw at the fly.

yeh my GT has Herrod exhaust(full) ss cold air,helix spacer and BMC filter and is getting 248.9 rwkw no edit no big throttle body and no power pipe.

I went from 215 RWKW up to 244RWKW with,
1. "Redback" cat back system,
2. SS cold air induction,
3. BMC pod filter,
4. Helix spacer,
5. Herrod power snorkle,
so a gain of 29 RWKW (12% gain) and the loss of $1700. The thing to remember is that every car is different, getting the headers done and an edit (herrod) will make a lot more RWKW gain, I think on average they are getting 40RWKW from the edit alone!

But remember messing with the computer is the death blow for your warranty, unless Ford do it.

The computer flash is called Stealth for a reason. Ford dealerships have no idea and that's a fact.

Output no idea - but no ones beat her yet! ( I think thats a lot to do with I nearly push the pedal through the floor! MUST NOT LOSE.....MUST NOT LOSE.....)
