Any one out there know if ford are going to spring a surprise? A GTHO for example. I know that the problems with the Typhoon clutch may have occupied the FPV guys a bit. Any whispers? What do you think they should do? I'd like to see a GTHO showcar to "gauge" public opinion/ interest. C'mon Ford/FPV just do it!!!!!!
The GTi will definetely be there... I can't wait to see the new shape Audi S4. I don't like it from the pics i've seen but i'm interested to see what its like in the flesh.
My comment is a little unfair, I think FMC is to blame for us not getting a couple of GTs here, but still.
I don't think you'd want to buy it. Have you heard that there has been seven items listed under recall/warranty work!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cancelled my order on a Typhoon not being happy about the clutch dramas. Imagine spending the dollars to buy a US GT and having recall issues.
I think there are some brilliant people working at FoMoCo. But I also believe that the bean counters have an unusual amount of pull in this company. How else could you explain the quality issues and apparent lack of evaluation/testing that cause these embarrasing problems? Toyota don't have many recalls. Then again Toyota build boring cars and that's why I don't buy them.
