My Ute Did A 13.47

hi Guys, i am one happy man at Calder tonight my ute went 13.47 after 5 runs and no traction we got one to stick, Rod was the driver.. i was pissed off couldnt get it to launch without wheel spin.no patience..we had both paid to drive my ute as a double driver, to it properly because you cant change drivers unless you register them to the 1 car... also in some earler runs my MPH was up to 105.50 thats just awsome, its getting quicker we used the OFR CAI..
Thx agian to APS for a fine tune, BPT, HMS, My biggest thanks goes to Rod and Jack and there boys for putting up with me running around there workshop...Rod brillant drive and mate you now how to get these BA's to move.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
BIG MICK 12.16 just awsome, Grumpy1 12.32 on yah Jamie you well give those LS1's a run for there money at the FF meet in 2 weeks..Casper well done i think he got a 15.9 something and Jeff did well xacoupe 13.8 two very nice launches..Cobra keeps amazing me 14.6 hes an OFR racer now he gets quicker lol.and to all the other FF guys that came out tonight for the 1st time there isn't normally that many cars it was crazy...traction was a big problem for most 1 guy hit the wall in a very nice mustang..

Congrats Mark, into the low 13's well done. Very, very impressive for an XR8 ute.

I saw that OFR CAI and am contemplating getting one fitted to the T for Heathcote...

It was an absolutely awesome night! Pity about how big the turnout was, didn't get to have many runs. Didn't really matter, I went with an agenda to get a PB, but was wasn't expecting to get a tenth and a half off my last pb.

Well done congrats rod and mark for the work you put into marks ute and getting it to run the times it did keep up the good work! I can't wait for Heathcote now. Lets teahc these LS1's a lesson!

Re: My Ute Did A 13.47

congrats XRFPV8, im glad you have done it. all the work u guys have done has paid off. Also, it shows you the value of your mods!!

please tell me that the mustang that hit the wall wasn't the pink one, as i built the motor in that car and had it in my shop for 3 months without scratching it. ( i had to leave early last night, so i missed the incident )

i think it ran a 13.5 or something.
