New in-car DVD for GT-P

Just had this fitted to my GT-P. It's a Blaupunkt DVD, the unit is fitted under the seat and is hard wired into the Premium sound system. Is absolutely perfect, looks like a factory fit. As you can see, the Audio/Trip control functions are still there at the touch of a button and disappear after about 5 seconds! What do you guys reckon?

I got it fitted at Tower Audio in Melton, but if you ring Blaunpunkt on 1300 307 036, they have authorised installers around Melbourne, and I presume in other states as well.

Does that imply that it's illegal to run DVD's in the front of the car whilst driving....or is it simply to avoid the jax pulling you over for a squizz and checking out the rest of your car?
