Went into my favourite ford dealer today after much impatience inspired agonising and signed up for a Typhoon. It is an extremely bright yellow, "Rapid" is the paint name and although I'm not usually big on Yellow, this colour looks awesome on the Typhoon and I can have it earlier than waiting for lightening strike for which the waiting times kept extending. The strangest thing of all was the price, including WAs criminal S/Duty and leather $66666 on the road

Go figure?

Wow sounds crazy. Looks like ull have a GT AND a Typhoon! You lucky guy you!

Yeh its funny how they come up with the fees, i swear they probly get together laugh at the prices they charge. My friend had to pay a fine of $1234.50

No I gave Lynfords another shot, their much closer to home and Dave Green is a genuine Dealer Principle that will give you the time of day, and they are hard to find these days. Not that I ever had a problem with Titans, they were also excellent.

Hi Doc, i know there is no Auto available at the moment there supposed to be getting a auto called ZF 6 speed best auto trans production maker around..
next time your at the dealer ask him how much more for the auto and when available..
Congratulations on the purchase how long do you think you will keep your GT ?

Well done and congrats doc, hope you enjoy the new beast.............should be a real weapon out on the WA country roads..............may need a good quick run over east to run the engine in like you did with the GT.

No idea on price Mark but the ZF gearbox will make an appearance when the next Falcon is released I am told. More interesting though is the lack of a camshaft in the falcon after that !

Hi Peter, thanks mate. This one is going to be my respectable Doctors car and apart from some more airflow initially it will remain pretty much standard

. I get a few strange looks from my more noffy and mature colleagues when I pull up in a big rumbling V8 BOSS but I have been in communication with EB 5.6 and I'm bringing The Boss back over for some cams and one of your Excellent re-tunes

. I have to meet the other half in Bris tomorrow and we will set the dates. Late Nov early Dec is looking like the go at the moment, look forward to catching up.
