Hi guys, My HSV is up for renewel in March and I seriously want to look at the GT, did I miss something as I live in Cronulla and there are no FPV dealers in Sydney`s South, I checked the list on FPV.com and the rest of Sydney is covered. My closest dealer is Parramatta or Liverpool. I just thought for convenience and good coverage a dealer would be close by or do they think no rev heads live out this way? PS I just checked White pages and 4 Ford dealers are out this way.

Remember you can purchase any FPV vehicle from any Ford Dealer in Australia.

They may have to purchase the car from an authorised FPV Dealer, however you can still get a GT from any one of the 4 dealers in your area..

I was talking to a salesman at Peter Warrens (Warwick Farm)yesterday and he mentioned that it cost them $100K to have the priveledge of being a FPV Dealer. Maybe the others dont have that extra lying around.
Its only a short trip to Liverpool from Cronulla.
Us westies wont bite you to hard, or are you worried the LS1 might run out of oil before it gets to Liverpool. :)

Steve.

I also live in Sutho Shire. City Ford is your nearest dealer which is where I ordered my car. Based on many experiences, and especially that of a friend of mine Dominelli's don't deserve FPV status. They sold a friend a ute with flopped fibreglass Tickford copy bodykit while still charging roughly the same price as genuine. Any dealer who sells flop copies of genuine parts is worth steering clear of in my humble opinion.

haha cop that :rofl2:

i live in caringbah and have to agree with pete here, i try and steer clear of Dominelli too! no help at all when looking at the cars - completely ignore you (not that im usually buying but still)! and the spare parts division leaves a bit to be desired too - even for the simplest of things theyre always "yeah we dont have that in stock, we'll have to order that in for you", so instead i go to City Ford Arncliffe where theyve got about 10 of everything! :bowd: :bowd:

I used to be able to say definitely - Rudy Mihajlovski. Alas he passed away recently. However I am now dealing with Vaughn Rowe who is a top bloke. He's on leave for a few weeks however if you wait until next week (Monday 20Jan2003) his boss Denis Carol will be back.

These guys are normally handling fleet sales so ask Denis what's best. If you can deal with Vaughn (he's back last week of Jan or first of Feb) it would be a good thing.

These guys are based at the Crown St City location. Rockdale is an unknown for me.
