Well all im just letting you know that this is it, 17months of development on the GTP and im taking it racing. I have entered it in the East Coast Targa which is a competition tarmac rally the same as the Targa Tasmania but held in NSW over 4 days. We race from Hornsby to gosford on the old Pacific Hwy as well as different stages in and all around Bathurst including Mt Panarama.There are 120 cars entered from Datsun 1600 all the way up the no less than 4 Ferrari 360 mondials. This is my first time in this event so we are going for cosistancy rather than a win.As you can understand a 2 tonne GTP has little hope againt the Porsche GT3's and EVO VIII's including Garry Holt who came 3rd in GT production this year in the same car.
We want to fly the FORD flag high so heres hoping.
(ps. its a shame not one ford dealer was taking us serious)
