Performance car fans will have their first opportunity to visit the new Ford Performance Vehicles factory at the inaugural FPV Open Day on Sunday March 2.
The event has been expanded this year to reflect the complete Ford performance heritage that has been brought together under the new Ford Performance Vehicles banner.
FPV Open Day visitors will be allowed to enter the new V8 assembly plant and see first hand production of the powerful Boss 260 and 290 V8 engines.
There will be something for visitors of all ages. Ford motor sport identities signing autographs, giveaways and special children's activities will be some of the highlights on the day. The complete FPV vehicle range will also be on display, including the new GT, along with a selection of Ford performance cars of yesterday.
The FPV Open Day will be held at the FPV head office, 33 Glenbarry Rd, Campbellfield from 9.00am to 4.00pm. A $2 entry donation will apply with all proceeds going to the Guide Dog Association of Victoria.
