We musn't forget that these are the same clowns who reckoned that the BA Turbo was a better car than the GT and gave it car of the year. I was stupid enough to believe them then. I have never bought or read a copy since :fly:

Never read a story about HSV's and them being compared. Like Clubsport v's Senator. Why are we interested in a comparison between 2 of FPV's flagships. Its just like having 2 NSW state of origin footy teams playing against each other when we really only want to flog Queensland not each other. Don't see the sense in it. Keep the comparisons againsts the foe not your friend.

These times aren't from road tests by Motor, but figures "released" from FPV. This reeks of "marketing ploy" but lets wait for a complete road test (or two) or better still till some FF members post some real times.

I doubt that, if the APS stage 1 kit has 295 kw @ 550 nm and i think times are around the 13.6 for the average driver then the F6 with less power more weight and a wrong diff gear ratio then those times are pretty spot on.

My local paper has a write up on the Subie STI and quotes 0-100kph as 5.4sec. It then goes on to say not much (and I presume they mean in the same price band) would beat it except maybe Dodge Viper V10 or new Typhoon.

So obviously some of the journos think the Typhoon will be quick

Seeing as Motor failed to give us their own times, it looks like we need to wait for the next Wheels mag. Ford's prob fudging the figures for the GT owners???

Wheels are meant to be doing an F6 Vs XR6T comparo.
