I am currently manufacturing Full billet half shafts this includes the knuckles being billet as well, the torsional twist will be better than the stock ones so as to absorb some of the shock.will be a couple of weeks though.
Race, there's a place on Douro St I've used called A1 Auto Balancing. The owner, Pete Smith, seems fairly knowledgeable, at least in old school stuff, it may be worth sussing him out for yourself.
i remember Peter from APS was saying on saturday that he is developing driveshafts for the XR6 Turbo, which would obviously mean they are interchangable with any BA IRS.

Rod Your correct
the LS1 OEM equipment uses C.V joint but some of the guys are getting Universal joint made up with stronger shafts.
I spoke with DriveShaft engineering today on the matter. I need to find them a sample of original equipment to make up these drive shafts cost is about $1800- $2000.
