I recently left my job where I had a Vortex (ron 95) fuel card. My car (xr220kw) use to ping a lot but since then I have tried mobil synergy 8000 and the pinging has gone. I would love some feedback as to the fuel you think is right for the GT.

Mines not the GT its the T3 and after using all the 98 fuels I find ultimate to run the best in the windsor.

With my lease I have to use the BP Fuelcard nominated by my employer so my typhonn has been on a strict diet of BP ultimate and goes fine.

Dynoing on an engine dyno, we have found Mobil synergy to be the best.
In my 347 street10:1 XR8 package, synergy is also the go.

I had a 220kW XR8 and used to run it on premium unleaded. From memory, it had to run on 98RON and not 95. I use 98RON in my GTP and have not found much difference between Shell Optimax, Mobil Synergy 8000 and recently tried the new 98RON premium from Caltex. Again, premium unleaded is required for the GTs.
