As you are all no doubt aware, I am happy to take the bashing stick to FPV and Ford on those occasions when I feel that it's justified.

I recently did this in a thread exhorting FPV to lift their game after the extensive delays and early quality issues with the FPV product range.

Todays mail produced a very nice letter from Happy Jack with an apology for the delay and a little sweetener to ease the pain.

Apart from being a very warm gesture this is also a massive step in the right direction for positive Public Relations and I want to be the first to congratulate HJ and the team on taking this step.

I'll still beat you up occasionally but I'll try to be gentler.

HJ - if you read this, I am sincerely unhappy with the performance of my AU V8 auto. I was thinking something along the lines of a 5.6L stroker motor from the last T series might just ease my pain!
