Finally found the right buyer today and sold our GT. Its taken a good 5 months but we were not in a hurry and got what l reckon is a good price ($52900) The buyer was a very passionate Ford man and loved Blood Orange, it was the only colour he really wanted and when combined with the other options (Brembo's, Premium sound etc) he had decided to buy it before he had even seen it.

There has been a lot of debate latelly on GT resale and personally l thought it wasnt going to hold up like it has.

This week l will be on the hunt for a good deal on a demo Territory Ghia 7 seater for the family hack, and a WRX Sti for myself. It will be an indulgence for us having two cars, and the Sti is going to be wicked

Hello mondie. Can I ask you why you sold the GT? And why it's replacement will be a WRX. Those 2005 STi's are nice though mate. Good luck with it and congrats on getting a good price for your GT.

Come to think of it, I now know of two ex WRX owners who jummped ship and bought the XR6T. They both are now going back to the WRX, if they can get a good trade in price.

Great result, get that STI and when you are use to the power get down to APS they have a very nice looking twin turbo setup for them, i seen 2 of them at there workshop left hand drive..crazy..
