Driving to work this morning, I was stopped at the lights and the car just stalled. I started it and it stalled again. I started it a second time and it was fine. WTF? I've got no mods other than an SS CAI. It's never done it before and I hope it doesn't again but I think that if it can do it twice in a row on one day, it can do it again any other time. Funny about that, the car's been like a dream up till that.

Mine did the same about four weeks ago, stalled about 5 times, happened all of a sudden in the afternoon, driving around all morning no probs.
Booked it into my dealers for the following morning, drove the car a bit before dropping it off, no problems at all. Dealer put the latest software upgrade in, that was all........weird. Has'nt done it since, 5,500km on clock, SS CAI only mod too.

As i have said before there is a down load from Ford to stop this stalling problem. Asked you dealer for the latest down load to be installed. It has been available for about a month now.Make sure it is version 2.

Sorry to the bearer of bad news guys but even the lastest and greatest upgrade does not stop the stalling issues. Ford know this and are still trying to find a fix for the problem. My car stopped twice with the upgrades in it. It does reduce the amounts of times it does it but does not cure it. Still waiting after 15 months of this issue.

I'm not too sure about that John. I usually only fill from one of two places, both Shell, both are high traffic stations and I go through a tank in a matter of about 3 - 4 days at the most, but you never know do you?
