Stock F6 does a 12.94 1/4 mile!! - Ford Forums

Well its happened, a stock F6 ran a 12.94@108 mph, 2.01 - 60 foot, amazing!!! These cars are miles quicker and faster than anything ever made by Ford or Holden in Australia.
HSV must be pooing themselves especially with the heavier VE due out soon.

12.94- only if the jorno's could get that. If that with an aftermarket filter?

I think I need to swap my Mk2 GT for a BF auto F6..lol

BMC filter only, i dont call that a mod, its just a replacement part.
Don't worry mate, your BA2GT is still a 13 second car!!
I doubt the journo's want to get a 12 out of an F6, it will cause uproar!!!

12's stock????? Why would magazines not try to get the best times out of them??? Especially in an auto! Why will it cause an uproar??? There are way faster cars out on the road, so i dont see it being a problem.

what are u not happy with ur gtp mate? ...a few bolt ons and a tune is all the v8 needs to get up and go...

I love my GT and it's already 'enhanced' so to speak

. I'm just very impressed that the F6 has managed to achieve similar pase without needed to make additional changes. V8 or no V8, it's an Australian Ford and I'm proud of that.

Having said all this my Wasp GT has a sound and provides an experience that no F6 will ever replicate plus a history as well. I was just cleaning the Wasp in the driveway the other day and a man with his kids walked passed. The young lads were having a drool over the car and the man said to his boy's, 'Hey boys, that's a GT'. A little silly I know, but I felt quite proud at that moment. I've owned many different makes and models of performance cars but it's only been the 2 GT's that I have owned that really seem to bring on that type of response.

Be proud mate awsome looking Australian made car just cant beat that sound of the boss.
