Stock GT Power Read Out

Got mine dynoed this morning at Herrods by Rob,

Stock Auto GT with no mods got 215.4 RWK, with a twisted tailshaft. Sort of happy with that expected a bit more.

Re: Stock GT Power Read Out

Sounds like a great result and typical of what they produce.

Rick.

Re: Stock GT Power Read Out

I don't think there is enough ks on it yet to get to dissapointed, but it might be a bit of a worry if 215 kw is twisting tail shafts, what will happen to modded GTs tail shafts that have 255-260kw?

Re: Stock GT Power Read Out

I'm sure a twisted tailshaft would be a manufacturing fault, not how much power is being pushed through it.

Re: Stock GT Power Read Out

Isn't the tailshaft supposed to twist? How else do you get power to the rear wheels? lol.

Based on what I have read on this forum about other cars, I would expect another 10 or so kw at the rear wheels after 10000km.

Re: Stock GT Power Read Out

Mine is being dynoed tommorrow, so I will post it as soon as I can. It is the stock manual, The Freak of Nature according to Cam. So it will be interesting to see what it does.
If anyone has dyno figures on the GTs, stock cars, can they post them, Id be keen to see what the differences are.
