When Ford/Tickford commenced the Tornado Program - T3, they spoke about 700 Units across the TS/TE/Pursuit 250's.

When I visited the Tickford factory I asked how many units had/were being built, the response was somewhat evasive.

My build date was May 02, Build Number 184

Does anybody know:

How many T3's were built and what the split was between TS/TE/Pursuit 250?

Does the #184 refer to Series 1-3 or just to T3's?

I would be interested in hearing about other build dates and numbers to piece the puzzle together.

By late May the BA program had commenced and the Tickford factory was closed for buyer visits.

Can't give you the model break up but the FPV website inidcates that 334 was the planned build for T3. T1/T2 had a combined total of 314.

My dad requested his build number (188) and they gave it to him. But it's wasn't necessarily the 188th T3 built.

I'm sceptical they mean anything at all...

TE50 Manual = 114
TE50 Auto = 90
TS50 Manual = 72
TS50 Auto = 152
TL50 Auto = 3

A black TL50 is either in Canberra, or passed through Canberra. I seen it near Fyshwick and recognised it straight away. I was in my GT-P so I caught up to it and noted the TL50 on the boot.

Initally looks like a black fairlane based on the AU series (not sure of the fairlane series number).

I am actually a Fairlane fan but could not go pass the BA GT-P. I never new the TL50 was made until I spotted it.

Lucky dude who owns it!! (and the other two!!).
