Settle down now Simon, Thats the fox's car & you know its only got an exhaust & K&N so your F6 would smash it at the drags.
But saying you'd like to get on the track against it might be biting of a bit more than even you can choo..
Remember there are corners on a real race track HA HA

Re: T3 TE-50's Run At Wakefield Park

The blood orange BA II Xr6 had a aps stage II kit on it with everything, AP racing brakes. His best 1/4 time at eastern creek was a 12.1 something. So 1/4 times really count for nothing on the circuit. Corner speed is everything. I slowly revved my car too 5500rpm only in the interest of engine preservation. I don't like getting my car towed home...if you know what I mean simon.

Cheers.

Pretty clear outcome id say.
Corner speed is very important, but so is straight line speed and HP, no good being 1/4 of a second quicker in the corners if you're a 1 1/2 seconds slower down the straights, some people forget tracks have straights too, not just corners!
Good track times are as much to do with the driver as the car, Foxy can obviously steer a car no doubt and loves to push it hard!
But dont forget most people either dont want to push their cars anywhere near their limits on track days or dont have the skills to do so.
Judging by the reaction of MOTOR to the STOCK F6's overall balance and prowess on a curcuit and their claim that its the Quckest and fastest Falcon they've ever driven on a curcuit (dont forget how tight and technical Winton is) id say a stock F6 shouldnt have any problems at all actually, a modified F6 would really ruffle a few ego's, especially amongst the modified HSV clan!

haha steve, my cars not set up for the drags, And i can tell you that on my fpv driver day there wasnt a car that could hold a candle to the F6, It was so much faster then my GTP it wasnt funny, and i wasnt pulling the piss i was just asking thats all!!!. i dont have to worry to much about corner exiting speed ect with my beasty heres a little clip of what happenes when you try and put your foot down in third http://www.xtremefordtuning.com/video/typhoon_2006.wmv

have you got any more vids of your car foxy?

Oh and dont quote aps this and that as being special, poor thing was prolly going in and out of limp mode with the ol piggy back. I know a certain member whos stock F6 wiped the floor with a group of aps cars and a T3 and 4 GT's.

Been good. Very busy with work at the moment but trying to have a bit of fun in between. Cars going great at the moment. Looking forward to seeing the results you get from Jamies car. What do you think you will get realisticly from his mods with your edit?.

Cheers...
