Hi all, the wifes EDXR6 is getting a few too many km on it so im looking at tradeing my 2001 pursuit ute on a 1999 TE-50 its only got 55000 km on it and in brand new condition anyone out there know what the TE-50 would perform like compared to the pursuit and does anyone know how many of these TE-50'S were built this one is build No 30 thanks.

If its a manual TE it will be on par maybe a little better performance wise, the first TEs were fully loaded, Big brakes, fairmont trim, trip comp,ect,ect, get onto aufalcon site then go to T-series link you will find out all the guff on there you need to know. IMO the T1&T2 were a very sweet car.Good luck with the deal, you wont be dissapointed..

Beware that if its a 1999 model it will only have the 200kw engine. But it will be Fairmont based so will have pretty decent equipment levels. As for numbers built these have been posted many times if you do a search, but for T1 l believe the total built was in the 130-150 range.

How much do they want for it? Given that its coming upto 5 years old, l reckon it would be worth around $23k.

They want 30k it is in new condition but sounds a bit expensive hmm dunno.

What colour you after Dads business partner has still got his forsale for a bit less then 30k, silver series one, with 88***kms. Never seen the angry side of 3500rpm, he drove it like a bitch. The car has been sitting for about 12 months now, i move it out of the shed every morning and think Ba XR8 or s/c TE-50.
