So after taking my GT-P into Ford for the gearbox repair,they informed we have the gearbox out and are waiting for parts.This was tuesday and they rang me today to say that the car was back?????.I said what do you mean,YOU told me you had the box out and were repairing it.Oh OH OH no sir we had to send the CAR to THE gearbox repairer to have it rectified.
F%^&in great,i leave the car at the dealer and they proceed to send it all over town at the instruction of FPV no doubt.Do i not need to be advised of exactly where my car is and what is happening to it.
I tell ya i am so FKUN Pissed off and the old diff is still in the car (cant get one )and the aircon is still not fixed.

check the distance to empty. Mine comes back with 3/4 of a tank and a dte of about 200. Oh no we just had to test it (more like thrash it). They don't give a shit these dealerships.

Tell me if im being a sook about it all but hey its my car and if they need to move it around the state for whatever reason should i not be advised of whats is going on, after all they did tell me that THEY had the gearbox out.

Its a dealership issue not an FPV issue.
Afterall the car was made by Ford and some extra goodies added by FPV.
The dealer is responsible for fixing the car, not FPV.
I wouldn't stress about where they take the car, if anything goes wrong they'll have to fix it!
If the car isn't fixed in a reasonable time demand a loan car and leave it there till its ALL fixed, thats what i would do.

I agree with you, I'm looking at buying a T3 TS50 and when its in at the dealer in the future, I'd certainly want to know whats been done and where its been.
I bet your car wasn't driven by a mechanic with kid gloves either, probably a first year apprentice or one of the service desk guys.
You don't know how they drove it!

I was working near the storage area for one of the main car auction places in Melbourne and the things that the guy's would do to the cars is what you would see on a vacant factory back lot, burnouts, doughies, power slides and drag racing around the car lot, and all these cars were on there way to be auctioned.

I know this is slightly off the point but i wait with my car while its being serviced, i pre arrange it to drop it in and be the first car looked at, i take my laptop in and work in the showroom!
As far as them driving your car record the km's and if its done more than a few K's make them justify them, but like i said, if they break anything they have to fix it anyway.
Having to take the car elsewhere would be a pretty rare thing.

Yeah but they took it to some aftermarket Tranny joint somefkun where to get fixed,now what i don't like is it is now out of the hands of ford and in the hands of bill&teds g/box shop.
Who knows what they been upto.
And i didn't even know it was goin there.
