Here is one quick little sucker that would wipe the floor with anything that HSV has to offer!!! An 11 second 500HP rear wheel drive Focus, Just simply awesome. Yeehaaa!!!!!!!!!!!
Not only that, just check the engine mods if applied to the BOSS 290 - 400KW plus!!
It would appear that there is a lot left in the Boss to play with.
"Turn the key and the familiar Mustang burble brings the Terminator to life. As soon as we graced open roads, we drove cautiously, short-shifting the six-speed into second and third. Once in third we felt confident that it would be safe to just plant the throttle on the floor—wrong.
Instantly the Terminator leapt forward with the front hopping from the thrust, the rear tires spinning for 25 feet and the rear wagging all the way as we wrestled with the steering wheel"

That thing is an animal! I reckon supercharging has to be the way to go with the (hopefully) upcoming GTHO..... unless Ford uses a totally different engine to the boss, which would be unlikely at this stage. It's surprising how many people reckon supercharging is like 'cheating', its not real horsepower blah blah blah...... if it delivers the goods then it's good! Also much cheaper than making the extra horspower naturally aspirated in this situation.
