Tickford is the predecessor to FPV.
If your vehicle was Tickford enhanced it could relate to a range of changes made to suspension, instrumentation etc. I dont think muck was changed mechanically on that model but if you do a search on yahoo or google you will find heaps.

On "tickford" falcons (GLi, futura) it had the tickford sports suspension.

On XR6 & XR8 it has tickford suspension, tickford I6 & V8 motor (red engine block) and Tickford Decals styling etc

Fairmont Ghia's from EF2 have the I6 Tickford Motor with an output of 162Kw (compared to the standard falcons 157kw and the XR6's 165kw)
