Come on Ford look and learn from these forums and see what the guys are doing to make these engines even more efficient.

Rod, It doesn't matter what Ford puts out for the general public to drive, we will always find a way to make these vehicles unique. That is what we do best! These forums are, from what I've gathered in a short space of time; all about people individualising their machines and then sharing this along with their thoughts and suggestions. Occassionally, you will get a heated debate on "Ford Should do this, Ford should do that" but Lets say they built the perfect car, and we had nothing to do to it but sit back and scratch our heads, then 1./ I doubt whether anyone could afford such a car (lets face it, parts are supplied by the LOWEST Bidder) 2./ I'd hate to own something that doesn't allow me to do something to it to say it's mine (that will be the day the whole aftermarket business will die)!
The way most of you are carrying on about warranty problems, and rattles in the gearbox ect, Ford would get the impression that they will NEVER be able to please EVERYONE. As long as that's true, we will always be trying to improve what is already a fantastic car, and make it better IN OUR OWN EYES!
I guess we are lucky in a way that most of the complaints I've perused are about petty little things (I'm not denying that they are problems, but look back to when a Warranty was 20,000km and 12 months, If you showed up then with a squeak in the dash somewhere and demanded that the whole car be pulled apart to locate it and then claim warranty, you would be laughted at! Cars have come a long way if those same manufacturesrs are offering 100,000km and 3 years with the option to extend that if you like!)
