I wonder how successful the T series would be if it was launched with the BA series with their original concept of european understating looks with performance. The BA is a stunner and i think would have been a very good competitor with the AMG's and Audi's sport cars (not saying it can't now) with it's more subtle body kit.
Anyway i have provided a pic for the people who can't imagine a BA T1 (i know it should have the hidden exhaust but i like them showing:p )
It would need to be noticebly different (mechanical & looks) from XR8/GT/GT-P and would be of little if any benefit to Ford to do this. Nice pic though...

You know, somebody actually complimented me on my driving today. They left a little note on the windscreen. It said, 'Parking Fine.'So that was nice.
The move to wilder T3 and GT seems to have people forgeting the T1 & T2 a little bit but just as important is that the Fairmont Ghia with 220 V8 would be very close to the original TS50 in performance and still has a fairly sporty ride. It is a shame though because the T series was a great concept that should have been a lot more popular than it was.

I reckon that there should be different levels of bodykit to be fitted to the GT / p and Pursuit. The understated and the aggressive gettouttamyway style kit.

Superb. When the time comes, I'm thinking a removal of rear spoiler for my black BA XR8. Dropped an inch or so, shiny rims, just a sweet clean machine
The pics above really show the Audi flavour of the rear end, they have a lot of RS in them!
