Just got back from the show and the GT is not finalised yet. The mags are not yet signed off, the bumpers etc are not in production tooling. Ford are taking feedback from the show before finalising all this. The engineers were their this morning and yesterday. I spoke to some big knob from Ford who told me this. So the final product in March may be slightly more aggressive looking, he even said they have thought about two toning the bulge. Thought you`d like to know.

Now where`s my checkbook, oops did I say that?

Mmm so maybe some of the comments on here will be listened to?

I say the silver in the front bumper is a must, but that doesnt mean i am not overly happy with the look of the GT without this.

Just improving on an already treriffic looking product!

This is a good move, they will be able to see what the People think, and if they need to change something before it is in full production. A very smart move, which will give them even better position in the Marketing race.

Cool news.

I love the new GT, however I have some thoughts for the final version:

I think the base GT absolutely MUST have the following:
-GT stripe down the spine
-A few more obvious FPV badges on the vehicle.
-An ever so slightly wilder body kit.
-A range of GT series exclusive mags to choose from, NO XR wheels at all. Period. (thats not to say the XR has poor wheels, far from it in fact, but the GT should be easily recognisable).
-That silver bar running along the front air dam grill thingy, and silver/black inserts throught out sections of the bodykit.

These ideas, plus the existing look of the GT/GT-P mix they have at the motor show should be the base GT. The GT-P needn't look much different on the outside, but its luxury appointments will make the difference on the inside.

Besides, we need to leave room for the GTHO, which should be an even more spruced up GT, but with a fire breathing engine (lets say 351Kw for now eh?) :-D

This would make me happy as a clam.
