Just checked my GT-P's oil level after it was topped up at 3K inspection. It was just below the "add" mark and took about 1.1 litres to reach the "FULL" mark. I have now done 8500km which makes it about 200ml per 1000km.
What is everyone else getting?

Dont stress guys,I purchased the first batch of BA GTPs and I have the problem.
All I can guarantee you is, report it to your Ford dealership and it will be adressed.
FPV will make sure your engine will be fine.
Unlike the H----n boys that didnt care.It took current affair programs for them to do anything about it.
I used half a litre in first 1000klm, nothing since, has an oil change at 3600, now done 4500, still nothing. I think you need at least 10000klm before the engine will reveal its true intentions.

GT Build 283, July 2003. Have done 10,000 k's and still using approx 700ml per 2,000 k's. Ford will perform their last measurement at 12,000 and then do an engine swap whilst my motor is re-built

My Pursuit is a july '03 build. it used 1 1/2 litres in the first 3000k and has just had it's 3000k service, i am keeping my eye on it. I am lead to believe that FPV have stopped doing rebuilds on the original motors now, and replace them with brand new ones, stamped to the correct numbers, can some one shed some light on this or is it just another one of those rumours ?
