My GT has been sitting in Tolls holding yard since last Thursday.......I gotta tell ya I'm pissed off about having to wait for nearly a week due to inefficent logistics.
I would also imagine that Ford would also be a little unhappy as they have to wait a week longer to get their money...how much would that cost Ford ona per annum basis.
Give the transport contract to someone who may be able to handle the pressure.
Does sound rather shoddy. Since you're in Melbourne they should just let you collect the car direct from FPV. Make an appointment so they have the car ready to drive away. Shouldn't be that hard to do.
Unfortunately I find that hard to believe. What it says on the system may not be reality because when I worked for them we often shipped cars the day they were produced.
With the FPV cars the status can be different because it may be in FPV's yard versus the actual offsite shipping yard back at Broady.
Get your dealer to call Toll at Broady and find out the true status. You'll need the SIDO.

I have a contact at FPV he advise that the car left at 11 am last thursday....today is Wdnesday and the car is yet to be delivered at the dealer.
he has copied me on the cars total history via the sido.... even to the point where the car had to go back to ford for 4 days while they fixed up a paint contaminaion problem.
My dealer has since found that the car actually left FPV at 8:35 am last Thursday.
One can only deduce that the vehicle is in Tolls holding yards...unless of course there is another piece to the puzzel i dont know about.
as far as I am concerned I am not making claims without being pretty sure i have all the facts.
its based on company a screwing company b on price, therefore service levels are up the shitenhausen....... I think toll after taking over finemores has the lions share of automotive transport.. others pick up the pieces.
Okay, I'd believe it if I didn't know better. get your dealer to call Toll Broady on 03 9357 0876 with your SIDO and get the story. If it is still there ask them to create an urgent order for the car (asking nicely will do the trick). Sometimes dealers are to blame as many will sometimes ask for certain deliveries to be held back if they haven't got room.
