I put my money on somewhere between 50 and 51k, because SS is $49.5k so Ford can't go too far above that.

If an XR6 Turbo is about $44 000 than how much could it be if there was no engin. It should be like $41 000 than how much would the Boss cost if the sohc engin is a $5000 opion.

I sent an email to Ford Australia asking how much the XR8 would cost and when it was going to be released and they told me it "would be starting at around $51 000," and release is set for March next year.... too far away for my liking.

yeah i cant get a TURBO even to look at for months. FORD has stuffed this up real bad. They should have spent more time working on the Sedans instead of releasing the utes.

Don't under estimate the ute. The Ute kept Ford Australia alive and it is a bloody great move to release the ute at the same time as the rest of the BA.

I can share your disappointment about the XR8 and XR6T but they are not the major sellers within the range. People know about the 'hero' cars but it is the XT, Futura, Fairmont and Ghia that they buy.

um ford sold way more XR sedans then any other model excluding the fleet owned FORTE ofcourse. And i own an AU3 XR6 ute so yeah i know how good they are, and how they kept ford alive. But still i dont think customers would have had a problem still buying an AU3 ute when the BA was released, like the XG.
