Hey all just after a bit of help, I am looking at getting either a XR8 ute or Pursuit or possible Super Pursuit (if funds are available).

1. Is it worth going to the FPV range or better of saving the money and spending it on the XR8?

2. Are parts for the FPV expensive, I have heard that brakes pads ect are alot more expensive than the XR parts?

3. If I was to go for the FPV am i better of just spending the little extra and going for the super pursuit?

If you are keen to modify I'd go the cheaper XR8, the difference in price between the two is about $15,000. Then again at the end of the day an FPV is an FPV, and will get a lot more looks and respect, plus an extra 30kW along with it. I guess it all comes down to personal perference, and the money you're willing to put in.

if you go the xr8 u will get basicallyt the xt interior except the blue back lights and seats,if its the fpv you will get climate control and......................why am i saying this go have a look at www.ford.com.au and www.fpv.com.au at the specs that will convince you on what to get

If you don't need the sound & the bulge I would get a tornado. They are an awesome ute with great potential modification potential.

I have a pursuit and went to trade it the other day and i was offered only $20 k $62 new and only 3.5 years old.
Xr's and pursuits have the same trade value if thats any help
Brembo's etc; dont make ANY difference when it comes to trading

Yeah i looked at the tornado today and liked the look of it. It is now also in the list (so confusing) but thanks for all the help.

one question does anyone know if the tornado will get the 6 speed auto?

go the tornado, i can see im going to have to do a little video of my F6 doing an exceleration run so you can see just how horny it sounds with the mods i have, through a stock exhaust .....
