Nearly 3000 k's on the BA auto XR8 ute. Fitted 80mm Battens TB, 80mm Battens helix, Battens air intake, BMC filter, Battens underdrives and we are nearly ready for a Dyno Session. Any ideas on what it should make on a dyno dynamics in shootout? the exhaust is totally stock.

With 3000km on the clock i'de say around 210-220rwkw or, that will certainly go up after another 10,000 or so

Go to a decent, reputable dyno place that gets it serviced and calibrated regularly, otherwise you'll get a readout of 235rwkw which sounds good but not really an honest power run. Dont take the readout too seriously, dyno's are best left for same-day modding to see how many kw a mod has given, to get real power readouts get a good MPH down the strip!

use the Calder dyno this Friday night cheaper too..
if its a manual i would agree with Rodderz up to 220rwkw

Thanks guys, i will try a pass after the 1st service. i have a dyno, but it is currently being upgraded, and since if we are talking "figures", i would prefer to use a shootout accredited dyno.

looking at other figures, im assuming about 98-100 mph would put me in the ballpark (until i get an exhaust fitted) and then is 102-103 what to expect after exhaust?

im waiting until a few more products arrive on the market before i try an exhaust, but the advice i recieved from an official OFR member has made a suggestion, looking at his timeslip i may be forced to take his advice.....
