Dropped in at Etheridge Ford in Ringwood and they had a purple XR8 manual on diplay in the showroom!!!!!

yeah, saw that XR8 at etheridge on new years eve. Its a nice car isn't it, i loved it so much i could have driven it straight out!!!!!!!!

The noise was incredible, I was ringing up mates and getting the wife to hang the phone out the window to show off how good it is.
Just love the sound on overrun - magic. When I get one (I'm waiting for an auto GT - so probably 2008 at the rate they're going) I'm never gonna get home from work - I'll just keep finding new roads to fang it on everyday.

Pretty good through corners too, better than BA XT and AUIII XR8. Inside is a little "downmarket" for a $55K car - this one was white with no options at all, so it could have been an XT with blue dash lights from inside (until you blip the throttle of course-then you know what you're buying...)
