VY was excluded because it wasn't revised enough over VX. Why? Because it didn't need to be, simple. You see the already COTY winning product of VT/VX was good enough that it was difficult to improve upon, and think about it, it cost $250 million to develop, compared to the BA's double figure of $500 million. See AU was a complete shitheap so it never won COTY, it is not exactly hard to improve on a shit heap, the only way to go is up, hence it's inclusion in COTY 2002.

HAHAHA Think about this in your Heap of a VY. Holden only spent 250 million because it can not even develop it own engines and has to have them crated in from the US where we have to tune them for you before you get them. HRMMM spend the extra 250 million and build a better engine that does not have the Oil issues or the oval cylinder walls. Ohh yea does affect us here in the states as well, but seems to be a bit more previlant in AU. Guess it is cause GM is throwing the second handers your way? Food for thought.

Ohh yeah before you start in atleast the Ford engine only has to use the block and a few other assorted items. Seems Ford Engineers can design unlike Holden.
