I've noticed too when I'm on the road towing the RV I get waves from other RVers. I'm a full time transport driver and it really is a different breed out there. One of my cousins who owns a mustang (5.0 GT), he upgraded to a Richmond gear 6 speed OD trans and after I told him my truck has 13 speeds he looked at me in awe and amazement as if my truck would go faster than his car because I have more gear options. It truly is a crazy world.

its the same way in the focus scene. you get your ocasional ass that is too good for everyone else and there are guys like me. i love to see another nice looking focus on the road.

what i dont understand is why when i pull up next to a cobra or gt stang and they pratically laugh at me. i dont drive a regular run of the mill focus.

just the other night this kid in a newer v6 stang pulls up next to me with his loud pipes and nice rims looking at me like im just some "riced" out focus. you should have seen the look on his face when i walked off on him like it was nothing.

thats kinda weird that he did that. i only have a 99 GT with a K&N drop in and an off raod x-pipe going into the stockers and usually it is the other way around. when i rarley run into an 03-04 cobra like i did the other day i lokked over at the guy. i had the top down and i had my girl in the car we waved and i revved it up and he just looked at me a grinned and that thing wasn't stock either, he had fule lines coming out the back bumper under the car and had either a whipple or KB on it cuz it didn't sound like an eaton but i gassed it when the light turned green and when he cought up he actually rolled down the window and told me that i need to sell my "POS" and buy a real car........WTF is that about? my father has a 2007 GT500 with a pulley swap and tune maybe a should drive it more, find the guy and tell him to buy a real car! SVT owners make me so mad sometimes becuae they think they are better than everyone else. when we ride around town in the shelby most s197 V6 owners jaws drop but s197 GT owners give us dirty looks like we flipped them off or something.......i will never understand this. maybe cuz i'm in orlando idk oh well.

they are probably under the impression they are the only person out there with a 'cool' car.. and get jealous when they see others in something similar. silly people
