Re: New cobra
Well, you're pushing just south of 320 horses, the 'Vette base of the same year pushes 350 and is about 300 lbs lighter. This gives you a power to weight ratio of about .091 and the base 'Vette is about .109. To get on par with the base 'Vette, you either need to figure out how to lose 300 pounds or get an additional 60 horsies. It's easier and safer to get the additional power than to take away the weight.
With a performance throttle body, CAI, headers to a 2 1/2 dual exhaust, and a performance chip (good reviews on the SCT) should get you there, possibly beyond.
