New cobra

Hey guys I just bought a converible 2001 cobra am excitected to start building up the car its a 4.6 with no charger and am trying not to go there with it. just want more look to engine while of course adding a little horse power , any tips will be taken into consideration pics will be uploaded shortly thanks ..

Bore and stroke, HiPo heads, CAI, what kind of exhaust she got?There's a lot you can do, how much are you wanting to spend?

It has original exhaust my budget for the car is 2k don't really need to take it to the track, but I got smoked by a fully bolted corvette out on the freeway so I feel as a mustang lover I cant let that happen to often

Well, you're pushing just south of 320 horses, the 'Vette base of the same year pushes 350 and is about 300 lbs lighter. This gives you a power to weight ratio of about .091 and the base 'Vette is about .109. To get on par with the base 'Vette, you either need to figure out how to lose 300 pounds or get an additional 60 horsies. It's easier and safer to get the additional power than to take away the weight.

With a performance throttle body, CAI, headers to a 2 1/2 dual exhaust, and a performance chip (good reviews on the SCT) should get you there, possibly beyond.
