Have a small problem, 01 Merc, mountaineer light is out on radio. Mach audio system. everything works, cd, stereo, fuses good , just can't see display. Anyone have the same problem?

Similar problem, different unit. I'm driving a 99 ranger 4x with a cd/cassette/amfm head unit and the display has flickered, faded and was usually out, i followed instructions and resoldered the components on the power supply board (ford used cheap solder, solder cracked and several components lost connection). works fine now. instructions were found HERE I had to right click and save target for the .pdf file containing instructions. Fairly simple, straightforward and free fix for my radio, hopefully for yours too. good luck
