Hi all

I'm looking at upgrading the sound system in my Fairmont. I want to put in 2 12" subs.
Any recommendations?
And also should i have an Amp for each subwoofer or...

Thanks

Re: 1997 Fairmont Ghia New Sound System

Kicker L5 or comps either or both are very good subs. get a ported box and i would put them in the same box and just use one amp. dont need more than a 1000 watt kicker amp unless you wanna blow windows and set off car alarms. make sure you use good wireing monster wire is one of the best for sure. double 0 power wireing is very helpfull but i would stay with kickers unless you want to spend more money and get some JL's but not worth the extra money if you ask me. I have 2 L5 kickers in my tahoe and ive had to reenforce my trunk door because it wouldnt stay closed = )
