I like, you got neons or anything lighting up the box internally?? Any plans for the amp, flush mounting for example?? How do the new series rockfords sound? I was thinkin of inverting mine to show off the magnet, always liked setups that put the subs guts on display

nice! but is it better to mount the subs facing into the cabin? i always learnt that its heaps better to fire them backwards towards the boot so u get the front waves resonanting back into the cabin. Or did u just do it like that so you can show off the subs? looks pretty sweet

I'm probably goin to put a False floor in it so the amp will be flush mounted.

I ordered a Cap today so i'll wait till i get that b4 i do anything, depending on where im goin to mount it ect...

New series... Well the ones I have are almost old now as the new stuff comes out in a months time. But yeah they sound realy good, only had em in about 4 weeks or so but the more time i put in em the better they sound.

I'm told the new series Subs that come out next month only need the box to be about half the volume of the current series I have... That could be worth waitin for.

EAtom
I alway thought that myself and was told that buy workmates (im a 3rd apprentace year Electronics tech) but when I brought this stuff the guys at rockford told me to do it that way...

Ahh yeah, I have a Black light in the box that lights up the stickers in the box and anything laying on the floor of the boot, looks good, but need to find someone with a degi camera at night...

I believe that usually facing them backwards is done for "booming" where you want everyone in the street, and every poor sould in every house you drive past to hear your basslines... whereas into the cabin is better for sound quality...

apparrantly backwards is louder also because of resonance but unless you want an SPL record, you're going to go deaf if you have speakers in teh front loud enough to balance in with the bass if having the subs facing into the cabin isn't loud enough.

When ya face the subs out the back its called Bass loading, but yeah pretty much do it for comps, ect...

But if ya goin in comps dont use a sedan anywayz, get a small cope or wagon, somethin like that. I was told once that you lose around 3db just buy having a sedan...
