2006 Marquis Front door speaker size?
Anyone know what the size of the front door speakers are?
My rig is a 2006 Mercury Grand Marquis Ultimate.
It came with a single CD in-dash unit that I replaced with a pioneer in-dash mp3 CD unit. I replaced the rear speakers as they sounded horrible. I promptly found out that the rear speakers were not the 6X9's that online info had told me... Pretty sure they were 6x8's. I made the 6x9's fit anyway, but I'd like to avoid trying to make alterations to the doors and want to keep the factory look. With mild alterations to the rear deck, it still looks factory from the outside after installing the 6x9's.
Any help that can be given would be greatly appreciated.
