My problem-battery went dead in about 9 days while my Mustang sat in storage. I jump started it with a power pack and now the radio automatically turns on when I turn the ignition on. Never did this before now.

Any thought on why this happened?

Not familar with that set , but it's not something simple like the radio switch is set at the on position ?

No...it is a push on / push off control. I make sure it is turned off and it should require a push on the on/volume button to turn back on.

Nothing in the radio menu that allows you to change setting ?
