I have been shopping around for replacements for the 5" x 7" speakers in my BA with standard sound.

I heard Rockford Fosgate 5" x 7'"s are very good, only i cant find them anywhere in melbourne at all. I tried JB, Autobarn and other smaller audio shops, the only brands i could find with the 5 x 7 size were Kenwood or Clarion. Are these ones good?

Can anyone else recommend any brands that are a top quality alternative (not too worried about price, only quality) and that are relatively accessable?

Hi Fi Supermarker have some infinity 5x7 60 watt rms
not a bad sounding 5x7 either there better than the clarion.

Strathfield sell JBL 5x7 for about $150

Quite a few guys on the forums have used pioneer for $130

Thanks for the input guys...the prices of the Kenwood's and Clarions were around $149 so it seems they all seem around the same sort of quality. The specs on each dont look bad either, when compared to the rockford fosgates. Most attributes such as materials, watts etc are all pretty much the same
