AA111J welcome to Ford Forums.

On AU1s the premium stereo as found in Ghias had the stacker in the boot. AU2 onwards it was an in-dash stacker.

Unless you are after a Ford Stereo that matches you current interior and steering wheel mounted controls it would probably be cheaper and better to go for a third party unit.

The alternative is to buy a second hand one off somebody who has upgraded. Check the Market Forums if any are for sale.

I bought a pioneer head unit and 6 stacker for $380 from JB-Hifi, definately the way to go pricewise.
