6 x 9's in to XF doors

G'day guys. I've had the ute for a couple of months and it's already got a decent setup- Alpine 4 x 45w deck, bass filter 200w amp for a 10" Alpine sub, Pioneer 6" 's - Ute remember. I've pulled the Pioneer 6 x9's out of a mates car we're wrecking- they're 120w 3 ways and as the system I've got is bass heavy and lacks mid-range I figured the 6 x 9's would be the way to go. Only place to fit them is the doors as the 10" is behind the drivers seat and the filter & amp behind the passenger seat. 6"'s go out, but I've had some mixed advice from stereo places regarding fitting them. Either way I need spacers, Ozcom reckon spacers and that's it ($100 fitted), but a couple of other place reckon because of the door panels on an XF, I'd need a custom panel ($150-220 fitted) as the fit would look shithouse without a new panel.

Has anyone done this before? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
