Hey, new to the forums as well as car speaker installations :D

I'm having issues removing the front door panels from my Escort so I can replace the dying speakers. The panel is mostly plastic clips with a couple of screws for the door handle. I can remove everything except for the handle for the window! I was told most vehicles have a small pin device that can be removed to take off the handle, however my Escort doesn't have this or I'm simply blind...

So obviously theres a certain way of removing this, otherwise installing speakers would be a very very difficult task...

Hopefully someone can shed some light on this, for I'm completely out of ideas!

My wife's '91 Escort had a phillips-head screw through the handle into the shaft. I believe it was covered with a sticker or something if I remember right. I just jabbed the screw-driver through it and voila!
