99 ford tarus cd changer coding
I have a 99 tarus and I tried to put a factory cd changer into it and the radio kept saying the cd was bad. I also have the origional radio that came with yhe changer so I plugged it into that and the changer worked fine. The problem is that the new radio module has the automatic temp controller and the car came with manual controls. How can I get the origional radio to recognize the changer witth out trying to swap out the whole radio assembly with the old face plate?
