Just wanted to know what compatibility issues I might encounter if I was to get a stereo sent from the US. I am thinking the voltages may be different? Can anyone shed light on this subject?
nope voltages stay the same, but the radio wont work. Probably AM will work but PM would require you to get a frequency expander. Honest truth save the hassle.

HeHe I think FM - Not PM :shifty: :shifty: is only a slight bit off in terms of frequency between the US and AUS.
Some head units allow for an adjustment in selecting your frequency anyways
decent head units should allow you to change the FM thingy, but, why would you want to import a head unit anyways? what will the one you are importing do that a normal one that you can get from maybe JB or somewhere a hell of alot cheaper wont do?
I'm pretty sure FM is the same, but AM is different. We use a 9kHz channel spacing, but the Yanks use 10 kHz for their AM.
