au head unit replacement

has anyone here come up with a way of getting rid of the metal bar at the bottom of the dash so as to be abel to but too head units in

factory sat nav and colour icc
momo wheel and sports shift
ss inductions cold air intake
k&n air filter
xr seats and door trims
xr dash face
18" xr8 alloy wheels

comeing soon

xr body kit and spoiler
(already have just need to get repainted and fitted)

xr head lights

sliver gt stripes

2 Head Units???

It is a Double-DIN slot so you could possibly put 2 separate single-DIN head units in, but why would you want to ?

Even then, there is no bar you have to remove to do this.

dont they just push out mate? they should just be held in with little clips.. if you're going to be filling it, and the little bastard doesnt want to come out... use pure strength
