Hi, does any one know how to remove/pullout the factory cd player in the 02' au series ute ? All i need to do is connect some rear speakers but i need to get to the wires connected to the cd player to connect them. some pictures would be great if it is hard to understand. (i don't think any panels need to be removed but i might be wrong) Thanks if any one can help.

there are two holes on either side of the tape deck, and you need to get a too to push into them to allow you to remove the radio head unit, you will not be required to remove any other dash parts to get it out.

You need 2 pieces of welding rod (2.5mm) bent into shape so they will fit into the 2 holes pointed out above. The unit should just slide out once the tools are inserted.
